About The Staircase Theatre

It began as Hamilton’s first electrical facility and the energy’s been flowing ever since. Built in 1914, The Staircase (named for its signature cast iron spiral staircase) combines Hamilton’s historical industrial architecture with contemporary facilities, making it an ideal space for celebratory events.
The Staircase is an artistic gathering place for singers, songwriters, musicians, poets, writers and actors, The Staircase is a jewel in Hamilton’s cultural crown and has showcased more than 4,000 events on its stages.
